Text Extrusions

Hello,
What would be the best way to add text onto a curved surface, is it possible to project it onto the surface then extrude and still keep it normal to the surface.
Thanks.

This is the short answer (please read in your help for the details), but what I think you want is to sketch the text, then choose Edit, Wrap and then Edit, Offset. Edit, Wrap will get your sketch in the right place, at any rate. --DG

Hi,

The best thing to do is to use the WRAP feature to project the text in a sketch on to the surface, then use surface OFFSET to create the depth.

Extrusion will be perpendicular to only one plane that is the sketching plane.

Regards.
