Translate curve up to another one

I have two curves, one circular and one that can differ in shape. I need the circular to translate against the other one until it hits it in some point. It should translate in a choosen direction and it shoud create a new curve where it "collides" with the other curve.
It is created in Generative shape design and is not in a sketch.

It's quite difficult to explain and just ask me if there's something you all wonder.

Johanc,

It's easy in a sketch, but I'm not sure it can be done outside of a sketch.
