UCS colors and skew

If I type "UCS" "World" and the crosshairs turns into two different colors, and one side of the crosshairs is shorter than the other side, Is my view skewed? Any help would be great full.

If you think your crosshairs are skewed in any way, try resetting the SNAPANG variable to "0". The two different colors you see are AutoCAD "tinting" the different axis (one for X and one for Y). If you changed your viewpoint to one of the isometric views, you would see a third color for the Z axis. To turn off the colors uncheck the "Tint XYZ" box in Options>Display>Colors.
