Hello everyone,
I've recently started my first 'Surface' model in Solidworks of a guitar body I'm trying to design and build. I have the basic profile and the raised top modelled and I've thickened the part into a solid model. This was not too challenging but I've found that I've ended up with numerous faces on the model which seem to be inhibiting the creation of fillets around the outside of the guitar body. I've never come across this problem with solid models before. The filleting will be Variable Fillets due to the complex shape but this shouldn't really be any problem.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish this? I can post my model here if someone would like to have a look.
Thanks and regards,
Dean.
