Use several times the same assembly with differents parameters

Hello,

I have a assembly composed with several assemblies : branch1, branch2 ... These assemblies are made with geometry but with some difference for some dimensions.

I want to add several times the assembly "branch" but i would like to be able to change some dimensions (which have been parametrized) of one branch without changing the dimensions of the others branchs.

I believe it can be done with "document model".

Have you some ideas so as to use several times a assembly and keeping the possibility to change some parameters indepently from the others assemblies.

If the solution must use "document model", have some informations about that ?
