I'd like to buy a notebook (Catia, UG), which is better:

HP Compaq 6710b(RM223UT#ABA) NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo T7300(2.00GHz) 15.4" Wide XGA 1GB DDR2 667 120GB 5400rpm DVD Super Multi Intel GMA X3100 - Retail
HP Compaq 6910p(RM231UT#ABA) NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo T7300(2.00GHz) 14.1"
Wide XGA 1GB DDR2 667 80GB 7200rpm DVD Super Multi ATI Mobility Radeon X2300 - Retail

Toshiba Satellite U205-S5067 Notebook
(2.00GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile T7200 , 2GB DDR2, 160GB, DVD±RW DL, Windows Vista Home Premium, 12.1" TFT - MPN: PLUA0U0CK042)

Description: ASUS F3 Series F3SV-X1 NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo T7300(2.00GHz) 15.4" Wide XGA 1GB DDR2 667 160GB 5400rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS

Depends on what you plan on using CATIA/UG on the laptop. Small parts or assy's these laptops may be alright. But I wouldn't really want to load too much stuff on it or use it on a daily basis.

I've seen it run on less of a laptop, obvisously less stable.

I'd stay away from a 5400rpm hardrives and get at least 2GB of memory.
